The Netherlands Ministry of Agriculture, Nature Management and Foodquality has its own agricultural advisor at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Singapore to carry out the mission of the Ministry.

The advisor functions as a liaison between Dutch agriculture, food, agri-business, fisheries and nature management organizations and their counterparts in Singapore. He seeks to stimulate and strength institutional co-operation between agricultural, educational and research bodies in both countries and promotes exchange programmes.  The advisor seeks market access and promotes the export of Dutch agri-food, expertise, technology and services to Singapore. He also mediates in finding trading partners for imports from the Netherlands.
