Many people who are about to live and work in another country, or who are considering doing so, have questions they would like to ask about the social security implications of such a move. The ‘Sociale Verzekeringsbank' (SVB) implements a number of Dutch social security schemes, including the Dutch old age pension, survivor's benefit and child benefit schemes. The SVB website provides information on these schemes in six languages, as well as offering the possibility to submit questions by e-mail.
