The Trade Section of the Embassy is responsible for the promotion of Dutch exports to Singapore.

It reports regularly about economic and trade policy developments in Singapore.

It offers a wide range of trade mediation assistance to link up Dutch companies in Netherlands interested in trading with Singapore as well as Brunei.

The Section provides the following commercial services to Dutch companies (based in Netherlands and Singapore):

• Economic information about Singapore
• Business culture, market entry information, sector and product information
• Information on local laws and regulations
• Tailor-made answers to questions regarding export to Singapore
• Information and contacts of Singaporean importers, suppliers, traders, wholesalers, manufacturers, potential business partners, industry organisations and governmental agencies.
• Collective trade promotion activities such as trade missions, trade fair participation, sector analyses, seminars, conferences, business matching, networking activities
• Assistance to Dutch companies in exploring their business opportunities (in co-operation with local chambers of commerce and industry organizations)
• Overview of business opportunities and threats in key sectors
• Individual consulting task such as guidance to setting up a business in Singapore

In addition, we also provide the following commercial services to Singaporean companies:

• Basic info about the Netherlands/business culture
• Ininformation and contacts of Dutch traders/chamber of commerce network/industry organizations
